Increasing number of Homosexuals: Upgaining Issue in the Modern Society

      " God created man in his image, in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them."Genesis 1:27; a verse from the Holy Bible visualizing the Creation of God- on the sixth day.
      Is there any space in this society individual who is considered as "gays" and "lesbians"? Are they means of advantage in the human society? Do the church accept homosexuals- especially the Golden rule of God?
       Homosexuality is the sexual attraction or behavior between members of the same sex or gender. The most common types for this homosexual persons are the lesbian for women and gays for men.
       Gay persons despite of all discrimination's and prejudices abound in the society regard them as despicable, dirty, sinful, and sick. Even in our community, we encounter people such as these, and sometimes, no matter hard we try, we find difficult to accept them, truly and sincerely, and embrace them as our brothers and sisters in Christ.
        "Bakla", a term used here in the Philippines in the core ideology of the idiom of a male body with a female heart.
       How does a person become gay? It is truly debatable whether it is a product of nature(genetics) or nurture( culture and environment). It results to a gender identity disorder- caused by the failure to connect with the same sex parent.
        There is a case that child becomes aware that he falls short of the expectations of the people around him, who expect him to be "brusko", "matapang", "hindi iyakin". He develops low self-esteem, which shows emptiness on his heart. He sees a different character from himself with the boys of his age thus viewing himself as different and unique.
       As he continues to grow up, at a time when kids develop "idols" of their own- mostly in sports and entertainment- that are attracted to male persons whom they could identify the masculine aspects which are lacking in their own character- the handsome face, skin, well-built body, etc.
       The gender attraction then becomes sexual attraction towards the same sex-that ends into homosexual relationship and marriage as well.
       The number of men and women who have deep- seated homosexual tendencies is increasing. We don't have the capacity to judge them as what they want, being a gay or a lesbian- as long as they do not break the Rule of God- not doing any mistakes that lowers his/her dignity as a person.Be yourself!
       Nowadays, homosexual persons are the one who has full of self confidence to continue the challenges on their life- they are active, happy persons, on business and social interactions- their personality is different from ordinary.They have unique characteristics that helps the society and nation as a whole.
       They have exceptional talents we admired. As we observed on television settings, they are on the higher level in society which makes them truly who they are.
        They are different physically but inside their heart they are truly good- dignified as what God had redeemed.Homosexual actions, lusts, and lifestyle are seen as unsuitable for Christians and wrong in God's sight.
        However, homosexuals are not beyond the reach of God's salvation and they can be redeemed, washed, and sanctified like everyone- repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ.
        They are different physically, but their hearts are naturally justified- conveying good values in LIFE.

"My Special One"

I can see you from a distance
I wait here for a chance,
When you ask me for a dance
To be with your sweet romance.

I can feel and hear my hearts pound
Here in the place where I stand,
Where I can feel the touch of the wind
That seems not to end.

You seem so far
But you are really near
I know it's you
The lovely presence of you.

I saw you were happy
But why I am so lonely
Afraid to tell you
The feelings I have for you

When would be the time
That I can say you are mine
And when I call feel the contentment
Of this foolish act of mine
When would it be?

When can I show you
The feelings of this heart of mine?
I know what I feel is really true
And patient to wait for you...

I would ask you
If ever I have a single chance
I wouldn't let the hours pass
To take this dance with you

If you will give me the opportunity
I would let the clock stop
And spend the rest of the time
